Update

Well I know I can be pretty hard to keep track of so I find the easiest thing to do is just send you an
occasional update to let you know where I am at. And I am hoping you'll tell me what's new in your
life too!!

I am all settled in and living in Kelowna, Canada which is where I was born and all my family still
lives which is great. I have been able to spend a lot of time with my sisters little baby Lexie who
has stole my heart. Being an aunt is the best and I am so glad I can be here during this time. I
am staying in a cute little house downtown with my friend Shan and we are having a lot of fun
working together and going to the gym with Jen every morning at 6am. They both work at a data
entry place where I have been able to pick up night shifts (5-9) and saturdays and it's fun cause
we can hang out with each other. This week I got a temp office reception job during the days
where the people are very friendly. So yes, I am now working 8am-9pm and Saturdays so that
doesn't leave much time for a life. But I am happy and I am paying the bills and it's just temporary.

The reason we are all working so hard is Jan 6th we will be on a plane headed to Tanzania and
Zanzibar for a month of fun in the sun and escaping the serious cold weather that has settled in
here. After Africa they are headed on to Thailand for another 2 months and although I haven't
made a decision yet I am very tempted to join them.

As you know I made the decision to come back here in hopes of a relationship, but that hasn't
panned out. So now I am exploring other options and looking for my next adventure in life. I
haven't decided if I want to return to Canada after my trip or look for more overseas work. But I am
considering all options so if you know of anything please send it my way!!

I am very happy and really enjoying this time with my family and my friends who I missed so much
while I was living in Nigeria. If you live in Canada I'd love to see you during the short time I am
here, and if not then maybe you will be my next destination! But either way I would love to hear
from you and find out what is new in your life.
